Who We Are
We are a 100% volunteer organization dedicated to helping our houseless neighbors to take the next step toward a better life.

What We Do
01.
— Food Pantry Assistance
A limited but essential pantry providing non-perishable staples, fresh produce when available, and nutritional guidance to houseless individuals and low-income families, helping bridge gaps in food security without strict eligibility barriers
02.
— Warming/Cooling Centers
During extreme cold snaps or heatwaves, we partner with local organizations like Souls Harbor and Minnie Hackney Community Center to operate overnight warming or cooling shelters, offering safe, heated/cooled spaces, hot meals, and basic hygiene for those without shelter.
03.
— ID Acquisition Help
Assistance obtaining government-issued photo ID, crucial for accessing food pantries, warming centers, and employment opportunities.
04.
— Weekly Community Meals
Free, shared hot meals served weekly to houseless neighbors and community members, fostering connection and providing a nutritious break from uncertainty.
We believe in helping the houseless members of our community to take the next step toward a better life.
Jason D.
I organize food drives that feed straight into the pantry and fund blankets for warming nights. During last summer’s heat, we flipped to cooling mode, and the response was great.
Maria R.
I cook for our weekly community meals and then pivot to setting up cots for warming nights. Guests who warm up over soup often stick around for pantry pickups. I remember a young guy who showed up almost hypothermic; we fed him, warmed him, and by spring, he was volunteering beside me. These programs aren’t separate; they’re the heartbeat of recovery in our freezing winters.
